About Dreams & Feathers

Dreams & Feathers is an artist duo consisting of Cuculum and Kathrina s. East. The division of this website follows our internal division of tasks: Cuculum is responsible for the visual arts, Kathrina for texts of all kinds and some photo projects. We also publish music together under the band name Cataract of Dreams, as well as board and card games. The different colors and cover images make it easy to tell which area you are currently in.

It is important to us to make our art accessible to as many people as possible. For this reason, we have also decided to make our projects available free of charge as far as possible. The fact that we don’t have to make a living from our art also ensures our independence and artistic freedom.

We never use generative AI for our projects. Firstly, we believe that the use of generative AI without the explicit consent of all authors of the training data is morally unacceptable. Unfortunately, all currently common AI models use large amounts of protected or personal material without consent.
Secondly, we find the majority of the usual use cases of generative AI to be contradictory to our understanding of a creative process.
