Klangspuren – Art Performance
At the 26. of July a concert combining classical music on a grand piano and live drawing took place in Sulz am Neckar. Pianist Stéphane Bölingen played the piano, while Cuculum debuted with his first drawing performance, drawing with pastel on halftone paper. In the first half 12 drawings were created to the Préludes by Claude Debussy. In the second half one single drawing of two meters in width was created to Julius Reubkes piano sonata in b-minor, marking the end of the concert. Afterwards the created works were sold by auction.
The concert was the second of its kind at the venue. Last year the first “Klangspuren” concert took place, however Cuculum was a regular audience member back then. The sketch he draw while witnessing the evening can be seen on the poster for the second “Klangspuren – eine musikalische Mal-Performance” event.
